跡見泰 ATOMI YUTAKA
Afternoon Street

This work is believed to have been painted in the Luxembourg Gardens. The composition seems to be viewed from the second or third floor of a building. Although it is still as a painting, one can feel the liveliness from the sunlight in the afternoon, the swaying dappled light, and the people passing by. The rhythmic composition of the trees and the shades and hues of light and shadow likely make the most of what was learned in France.
